Tribute to Angus McBride†

I always admired Angus McBride for his really outstanding illustrations. 18 years ago I got to know his LotR Illustrations and I liked them very much. After years watching his work I found out a really interesting thing.

Since I was a boy aged 7 years old, I read books on history which were illustrated by Angus. Therefore I think I loved his style and I was  very familiar with it. Lateron I bought some Osprey books and I was pleased to find Angus illustrations again in there.

Reading about his sudden death made me very sad. Farewell, your work will prevail Angus!
