Tombstones by Ziterdes

I painted these new scenery pieces for Ziterdes and Thomarillion. They were included in an big scenery for the Gaming Fair "Spiel" in Essen.

The tomb stones really made fun to paint, as far as I can have fun with tombstones. But they were really detailed as you can see in the bigger sized images.

I used different warm grey paints to highlight them with drybrushing. A warm grey contains yellow or brown and looks like lime stone.

After that I used brown and sepia ink for weathering. I used my fingers to reduce the amount of ink. That worked excellent. After that I used green ink for a moss and algae look.

I am going to build a small cemetary with them for some future Pirate games.
