Tiger Platoon – I had one before Tankred had

Here is my green Tiger IE and it’s supporting Panzer III N

There are some sources that suggest that a couple of Tiger tanks in Tunisia were painted in green. Then they arrived in Tunis they had still their original dark grey colour from the factory. Because there was no sand brown paint at hand the crews acquired some green paint from the Italian airforce.

But the colour of the Tunisian Tigers is a controversy subject. There is no colour photo which actually proves the existence of the green Tigers and a lot of experts doubt that this is true.

Beside historical wargaming I am also doing fantasy and pulp tabletop, so I think a green Tiger is Okay.
