Scottish Pikemen - A new start of my rebellion project

Having seen HerrVonMoria´s and Asuryan´s Rebellion miniatures I decided to paint my rebellion minitures in an more detailed way I did before. Here are my first two prototypes.

I really enjoyed the Pikemen, they are definetly some of the best models EBOB did for his Rebellion range. They got really nice expressive faces showing the tension on the battle field. Especially the gambeson looks very natural and realistic.

I changed the base style a little bit towards EBOB´s models since I really like the flowers and the grass but I wanted to stick to my muddy bases. Moreover I painted the base sides black which I like currently more.

Those two are the first of a pikemen unit lead by an scottish knight consisting of 12 to 14 Pikemen.

I used the great steel pikes with ready made tips by Perry miniatures and NOCH Wildgras dunkelgrün und hellgrün (wild grass dark green and light green). The flower foliage was made by Woodland scenics.

I would like to know how you like the current style I chose.
