For the first time I took some primed miniatures with me in order to paint some models during my holiday. Read here a short list what I brought with me.

I always thought painting during holidays is not a good idea if you go somewhere by plane. This time I gave it a try and brought some models with me.

  • small miniature case, e.g. chessex of feldherr
  • tupperware or similar case for paints and for the usage as palette
  • 2 paintbrushes (0,1)
  • Modelling tool (your most favourite one)
  • sandwhich paper for the wet palette
  • primed models
  • kitchen roll (if you cannot get hands on such things during your holiday e.g. in Antarctica
  • 1 daylight bulb

I took the following colours with me, I just post a mixture of paint names, you can use your favourit colours:

  • black, white, some neutral greys
  • Dark Sand, Snakebite Leather, Beasty Brown, Scorched Brown
  • Prussian Blue, Dark Prussian Blue
  • Orange, Red, Cavalry brown
  • Bleached Bone, Iraqui Sand, Earth
  • German Camo Brown, Dark German Camo Brown
  • Warlord Purple, Darker Version of this
  • Leather Browne
  • Green, Olive Green, Dark Green
  • Gun, Metal, Gold

Then there are some inks and mediums:

  • black ink Vallejo
  • brown ink Vallejo
  • Flesh tone ink Vallejo
  • Black ink GW (new)
  • Brown ink GW (new)
  • Glace medium

This should be enough to paint most stuff, also this could be a starter´s set. I hope this helps anybody.
