Modified knights

Due to two suggestions in the german speaking Sweetwater-Forums I decided to modify the knights a little bit since I made two mistakes.

You can read the discussion in German here. Actually there were three mistakes, but one of them was an artificial one, the others were more of a historical kind. First of all some wargamers thought that my yellow was actually a brown. Unfortunately I experienced that quite often: I think it is yellow, others think it is brown. So I added a final highlight with orange yellow.

Another mistake was mentioned by thomas in the forums. He reminded me of the basic heraldy rules which say that the inks gold and silver (yellow and white) should not touch each other. Therefore I painted a black beam in between as Frank Bauer suggested.

After that I painted the hooves different since ebob insisted that a hoof is never blank white. For sure he is right.

Now I think I am ready for the next knights. I just ordered the Ospreys for Bannockburn and Stirling Bridge to get some additional inspiration.
